History

The New Darwin Hospital became Fortress Darwin Hospital after the air raid on 19 February 1942. On 28 June 1943, it was renamed 129 Australian General Hospital. 129 AGH was replaced at the Darwin Hospital on 25 March 1945 when the Royal Australian Navy assumed full control.,
