History

This Unit was formed by W. E. Stannar. They rode horses and patrolled the north coast of Australia. They had a number of small boats for re-supplies; AK Lady Yetive, AL Hurricane, AK Toorbul, ML Koolama, MC The Lady Mitchell, AM Bondi, The Lady Ruth, Synina and Coral. In January 1943, they set up observation posts at Lee Point, Micket Creek, Howard River and Bynoe Bay.,
