History

The Battery was raised on 12 October 1942. 38 men from 11 Field Regiment were transferred to this Battery in November 1942. In October 1943, they replaced 149 Light Anti aircraft at Fenton and Long. 6 x 3 inch 20cwt. mobile anti aircraft guns were relocated to a number of sites prior to them being handed over to this Battery. Four of the guns covered Batchelor and two of them covered Coomalie until they were returned to storage.,
