History

Formed on 23 March 1943 and composed almost exclusively of Chinese. The Unit worked at Woodman's Point in Perth and later Northam and Exmouth Gulf before moving to Larrimah on 30 June 1943. There were also detachments at Brisbane, Redbank and Mt. Isa. The Unit was disbanded 12 February 1944.,
