2021 Highly Commended Scrub Fowl pair on shed roof flicking off dirt Painted by Alison Dowell Bronwyn Cleary is presented with her prize by Cr Lawrence. Peoples Choice for 2021 was awarded to Gerti Huddleston. Entry submitted by Lance Lawrence. Judges notes on the Pine Creek Art Prize. Firstly, Id like to acknowledge the Traditional owners and Elders past, present and emerging. Although the number of entries was small, there is some very talented and well executed works on display. There were two outstanding works that proved a difficult decision; both works have a depth of layers and colours and both feature energetic brushstrokes. Both of the artworks have a Territory theme but a very different scale. After careful consideration, walking away and coming back, I erred on the side of visual impact and have awarded the 1st prize to Bronwyn Cleary for Morton. Mandy Tootell - Judge 2021 Grand Prize Winner! MORTON Painted by Bronwyn Cleary
