COTA NT Coomalie Branch Newsletter Issue 77 April 2018 Health Matters Breast Screen NT is sending the PINK Bus to Adelaide River on 16th & 17th of April and then to Batchelor on the 18th & 19th of April. They offer free breast screening for women aged 50 74 years. If you, or someone you know wants an appointment please call 13 20 50 and be ready to provide the name, date of birth, phone number and postal address of each person wanting to attend. This is such an important, although slightly painful, service, we women should use it. If you are 65 years or over have you registered with My Aged Care? Even if you do not need the services now, registering will help form a truer picture of the future health care needs of our district. The easiest way to do this is to book a time at the Clinic and they will assist with entering your details. Opening Times for Op Shop and Food for life The St Francis Op Shop has extended its opening hours. It is now open on the the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 9.00 am 12 noon. This means April 7th and 21st. It also opens when the Food for Life group are at the Church. This is on every on every second Friday from 10.00am -12.00 noon. For April this will be on April 13th and then on the 20th. Food for Life provide pensioners and welfare recipients with $10.00 bag of groceries.
