Tenancy G4, Centrepoint Building, corner Gregory Tce & Hartley St, Alice Springs, NT 0870 PO Box 178, Alice Springs, NT 0871 8951 5463 electorate.braitling@nt.gov.au JoshuaBurgoyneMLA joshuaburgoynent Supporting Our Schools World Teachers Day This would have to be one of my most favourite days of the year! It is such a pleasure to be able to visit all the schools in our electorate and drop off cakes for their celebrations. Sometimes I even get to eat cake! Teaching is such an important profession and it is wonderful to be able to stop and thank all the educators out there who do an incredible job, and for the role they play in forming our future leaders. The principal of Sadadeen Primary School, Donna Wright, won the Principal of the Year Award in the Northern Territory. Well done Donna. What an amazing way to be acknowledged for your dedication. I am sure you also have a great team around you at your school helping to teach and guide the students. Christmas Baskets Schools fundraise in many different ways and for different reasons, so it was very rewarding to be able to donate Christmas baskets to schools in the electorate so they can continue their fundraising efforts. I wish the schools good luck and hope the students who win the prizes really enjoy them. Each basket contained at least one family game in the hope that families can enjoy some quality time, a Lions Christmas cake, a small pudding and some biscuits. I am sure the rest of the goodies will be enjoyed by the winner. If you are a school in the Braitling electorate and are fundraising, contact my offi ce on 8951 5463 or email electorate.braitling@nt.gov.au and ask how I can help.
