Abstract

The purpose of this report is to collate and review the existing knowledge and data on the Beetaloo Sub-basin in relation to the groundwater resources overlying the Beetaloo Sub-basin. Due to the nature of water occurrence in the Beetaloo Sub-basin area, a focus has been given to the hydrogeological conceptual understanding, interaction between groundwater and surface water systems (rivers, springs, wetlands) and groundwater quality. The aquifers considered include the Cambrian Limestone Aquifers (CLA), and the underlying basalt and Neoproterozoic sandstones. It also aims to identify information gaps, to recommended and prioritise further work to address the identified knowledge gaps.,
