Browse our INPEX Sunset Stage program Festival family fun Check out these events you can enjoy with the younger arts lovers in your life. Darwin's favourite family fun day is back this year - yes it's time to dress up your special soft toy and bring them for a big day out on Sun 7 August at CitY of Darwin's Teddy_ Bears' Picnic. Festival guests and local talent are on hand to entertain and there is plenty to explore. For a picnic of a different kind we suggest buying a ticket to Erth's Prehistoric Picnic. Settle in on the lawn at MAGNT and be transported back to ancient times, when megafauna roamed the area. Forget those scam dinosaur shows you may have seen advertised, these supersized dino puppets are the real deal and this interactive adventure will delight youngster of all ages. For the older kids (and for theatre lovers without young kids) we have two charming shows on offer. The company behind The Bookbinder bring their darkly comic and inventive one-man show Troll to Brown's Mart. And the Studio at DEC is transformed into an Irish town hall, complete with music and craic for The BOY.. Who Talked to Dog.. Based on a true story this magical and mischievous tale is told through shadow puppetry, swinging Irish music and stunning physical performance. The Festival's free closing event is a must-see experience for everyone. Bring
