Notes
Ku Kananganthan-ka Marra-re-ka Kadibarlbarldha, 'When the Emu could fly' was told by some elders to Sister Camilla Mary and was later published in 'Aboriginal Children's Stories' in English by Kormilda College, Darwin. This story has been written in Murrinh-patha by Edwina Smiler. The illustrations were done by Angelo Kungkul. This book is intended to provide easy reading post- primer material for people literate in Murrinh-patha, a language spoken by approximately 900 Aboriginals at Port Keats, Northern Australia.,
