The objective of this document is to develop a plan for the surveillance monitoring of Darwin Harbour benthic sediments. Surveillance monitoring is used to assess long-term changes caused by widespread human activities (Hering et al., 2010), and comprises spatial and/or temporal surveys that are regular and designed to quantify changes (Hallett et al., 2016).,
