Abstract

A soil and land suitability investigation was undertaken on lands south-west of Nhulunbuy in the East Arnhem Land region of the Northern Territory covering a total area of 79 916 ha. The overall intention of the assessment was to identify soil and land resources in the East Arnhem Land region potentially suitable for a new irrigated agriculture precinct.,
