Two c l osely related members of the daisy family with similar pr ope r ties . They are strongly aromat i c upright perennial plants 50 - 70 cm t all with small mauve f lowers . Csually found i n sandy gra vels along water courses they are frequently heavi lv grazed . Jujuminy i minyi can be used as a decongestant by placing a fres h twig t hrough the pierced nasal septum, or when dri ed by grinding f i nely and i nhaling . It is also dried , g r o und and boiled, then r ubbed on t he c hes t "like Vicks . " Placed fresh in a coolamon i t keeps b a bies healthy . 4
