Abstract
"Donated to Library & Archives NT in 2021, this collection contains research materials relating to Dr Deborah Bird Rose's anthropological
work in the NT and NSW. It includes ethnographic, ethnobotanical and sacred sites work, along with a large amount of land claim and native
title materials amassed through her work with the knowledge holders and cultural advisers in the communities of Yarralin and Lingarra.
The archive also contains her professional and personal correspondence, private journals, photographs and personal writings.
The collection provides an insight in to Deborah Bird Rose’s broad interests and work, it incorporates her BA thesis on Pentecostalism,
her ethnographic and land claim work in the Northern Territory, her interspecies work in USA and Taiwan, and her work as a celebrant
towards the end of her life.",
