DCMC representatives advised that, as the relevant milestones approach, situations can change, further matters may come to light and statutory/administrative processes affecting infrastructure projects can cause delays. Procurement DIPL outsources the management and construction of infrastructure projects to private sector construction firms. The Darwin City Deals infrastructure sub-projects are being implemented using this process.
