This report presents the outcomes of implementing the Mangrove Monitoring Program (MMP) across Darwin Harbour for the Darwin Harbour Integrated Marine Monitoring and Research Program (IMMRP). The study area is divided into fourteen zones equivalent to the water quality reporting zones and their sub-catchments. The remote sensing techniques developed in MMP (Staben, et al., 2020) were applied from the baseline year 2016 to 2022 using Sentinel-2 satellite imagery, and the results look at 6-year temporal trends in the indicators, extent and condition to provide updated recommendations for ongoing monitoring. The MMP provides a cost-effective and repeatable means to monitor mangrove health using remote sensing products, e.g. satellite-derived mangrove extent and canopy 'greenness' and images from Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) as indicators. This report presents the use of innovative UAV technology to capture high-resolution data for identifying changes in mangrove health between the years 2018 and 2022, which brings a new approach to characterizing geospatial stress levels on Photosynthetic Vegetation – Product (PV) time series and calibrating the Fractional Cover Percentage – Woody Index.,
