Athakwere Akweke Angkethakwe (The Thirsty Little Mouse) is an Arrernte children's book, written and illustrated by First Nations educators Lorrayne Gorey and Amanda Turner at Ampe-kenhe Ahelhe (Children's Ground Central Australia)"Aunty MK used to tell all us kids this story when we were little. I'd like to dedicate this book to Aunty MK for inspiring me and many other Arrernte people to learn our language, our culture and to stand up and be proud of our identity.,
