Abstract
This report consolidates the understanding of groundwater resources in the Darwin Rural area (area). The groundwater in the area is delineated into water management zones (zones) based on the hydrogeological characteristics of the resources.
The study analysed drilling data, geological mapping, water intersections and bore airlift yields, to provide a detailed understanding of common hydrogeological characteristics. This identified four distinct types of aquifers, which are classified into 12 water management zones.,
